On this day in Tudor history, 13 November 1537, Jane Seymour, third wife of King Henry VIII and mother of King Edward VI, was laid to rest in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Jane had died on 24th October 1537, twelve days after giving birth to her son, plunging the court and kingdom into grief.
I talk about Jane's final journey from Hampton Court Palace to Windsor, her funeral, and also how her remains were actually buried in TWO places...

I hope Jain is with her son in Heaven….it makes me cry to think about it but if she survived to raise her son Edward might have been more like her and Henry never would’ve married Anne of Cleeves, Katherine Howard or Catherine Parr….i know it’s not like History could be that way but…She must have been Hart broken knowing she’d never see her son Grow and coming from a Woman who would love to have children I feel her pain and it makes me sad knowing what she was so Excited for caused so much sadness for her..I hope she’s happy in Heaven finally with her Son and i hope she watched him grow from above..
